Distributor Seal/O-ring - Can I find them Locally?
Morning, the title says it all. My F22B's dizzy is leaking, and I'd like to try and source replacements locally. Any suggestions?
not sure if your looking for the internal seal or the outside seal...but heres the outside seal i bought recently b/c i had a external leak awhile back..if you have an internal distributor oil leak you'll need to make a run to the stealership and/or find an online oem type parts distributor bc not too many places sell it

Take the cap off and if there's no oil in the dizzy, don't worry about the internal bearing seal. The o ring for my car, 90 Accord can be had at the local dealer for $1.98. Easy to do. If your valve gasket needs changing, do it at the same time. In order to get that price, you need to go to honda.com and order e-parts and pick up at your dealer. Easily done. I did mine 4 years ago and never leak since. Put a little gasket material around the outer portion of the dizzy for extra seal like the 4 dabs on your valve cover at the humps.
They got the internal seal at partstrain. However, these only fit on oem type distributors, not aftermarket ones, as I learned.

What I actually did was I took the spring from the inside of this one and put it on my aftermarket seal which had a spring that was inadequate, to say the least.
