Oil Seal part number for dizzy assembly
The internal oil seal (not the O-ring) for the distributor assembly has part number BH3888E. Does anyone know where I can find a direct replacement instead of replacing the entire distributor assembly???

I found a replacement washer for that distributor seal and you won't have to replace the dizzy!!! Check it out here
http://www.partstrain.com/prod....html
It's same for all distributors of all the engines 1.5L, 1.6L, 1.8L, 2.2L, etc. (civic, acura, accord, etc.).

the seal is huge, no way does it go in the distributor. looks just like a axle seal. i was just looking at a spare distributor housing i have here, and the seal is not larger then 1" diameter. buy it, and let us know if it is the proper one.
