Default Swapping a 89 prelude motor in a hatchcx 93'? will it work?

i am planin to throw in a 89 prelude motor in my cx. the motor is a dohc engine. will it work? if it does what kind of motor mounts will i use? axles? I am jus throwin in the motor jus cause the prelude car is only 500 bucks. it happened to be a SI.

Unless you plan on making you own mounts, it' snot going to happen. That motor is crap anyway, the rod stroke ratio is in the basement, and they don't tend to last long...hence why honda killed that design in 91.

my firiend's 89 sold for 1500 with 170k on the odo and still running strong. But hell for only 120hp, what's the point?
