Default T1 Integra 2012 rebuild

Well, we all busted *** here for the past two weeks to make this IFO race and ran into some breather issues on the dyno at 2am on Saturday night that just couldn't be resolved in time for the race, so no numbers yet. Looking forward to finishing it and getting on the track.

We changed the setup considerably this year. Getting weight out of the car and getting the CG lower and further forward were our main goals in the rebuild.

The new setup is based around the new Full Race Outlaw manifold. Same turbo as last year for now. We changed the rear suspension up to get some weight out of the rear and also switched to a 16v lithium battery and carbon Tillet seat.

Exospeed built the new kevlar front end and it's got a fresh Seibon hood (not on in these pics as the holes weren't finished yet). Here's a few shots of it, will update it with track results as soon as we make it out. We dedicated the last two weeks to the car so we're way behind on shop stuff now so I have to get caught up before we get back on the teg.

Looks sick!!! Can't wait for results. Question, are you running A2W? Can't till from the pictures. Looks like it's just running straight from the Turbo.

I was testing a non intercooled setup with water injection pre turbo. Still need to do more testing, it works killer to prevent detonation but it's down a bit on power so may go back to a small a/w intercooler.

Wow, pretty sick, Tony. I saw a glimpse of it in the IFO Ennis thread beside the GTR. Beautiful.

Were you running a Precision A2W previously, or something else? And how is your oil drain? Do you have a pretty good angle on it, or did you have to run a scavenge pump?

Damn, I hate to be one of those high five back slapping types, but this ups the level of the game.

Props

You have built yourself a good looking car, no doubt about that.

Good luck with it.

I would think post turbo would be better, first off, pre turbo your displacing air potential with water. Secondly post turbo you have such a high temp that the water will vaporise much more easilly absorbing more heat.. Just some thoughts, i could be wrong. I've been wanting to do somthing simular for a while now so I've actually thought about it quite a bit, just don't have my own car to test on..

Are you running a PTE or an FP Turbo? Can't remember what you had last year.

Wow, nice looking set up. Good luck with it.

I assume the car will be red again or do you have another paint scheme in mind.
