Default New Civic, Swapped

It is new to me anyway. I had an 01 Prelude and just recently traded it for a 97 Civic straight up. The value difference being under the hood. 97 JDM H22 SH swap, I/H/E, and is set up to spray, though I don't plan on using that much. I adjusted the valves down to the .008 and .007 range, is that as low as I should go or is a 7/6 range still ok?

It's obviously an H series. Even without reading the first post.

The giant VTEC on the valve cover is a dead givaway for an H series. Otherwise the width of the block due to balance shafts would be the second clue that it's an H or F block. Hondas are a bit easier to quickly identify than even the chevorlet engine family once you know what to look for.

She isn't perfect but a good start I think. Interior needs a few things. Driver seat has a rip and leans back on the right side. Middle console is broken at the cup holders. Idles a bit rough at times and has some valve tick. Clutch isn't as stiff as I would like, Hopefully all that will get straightened in time. I think I can hit mid 13's from what I've read with out the spray. Wheels and tires are brand new. Lots of new parts.

Im sorry, but of the Prelude wasn't absolutely beat, then it wasn't a good trade. And the shiney VC probably means the swap isn't a Type S. Need clear pics of the IM. Also what is the transmission code?

Prelude was an auto with 168k miles, paint wasn't great and it has its share of problems. As for not liking the car? Yeah, it needs a few things done but at the end of the day it is a starting point. Feel free to troll though. I understand its all some people have.
