Default Deleting the rear wiper. Any tips??

This rear wiper is ugly as sin and has got to go.

Has anyone used a plug with success or a cool cover after removing the wiper to fill the hole??

Is there much inside the hatch that can be removed with the wiper??

Pics would be

Search "wiper delete plug" on google

I removed the rear wiper and motor and cut a small block off plate to cover it. I painted it black (to match my car) and siliconed it in from the inside. I used silicone because it isn't permanent and I can undo it in the future if necessary. Since I have the jdm wing so I wasn't too concerned about how it looked since you cant see it anyways.

If you wanted to do it right, you can weld in a piece of metal and use bondo/body filler and sand it down and repaint it.

Ya I get the part of taking it out (even though Ive never seen the inside hatch) but deleting the hole is what I was asking about

Seems like this $30 plug is a good idea but I'll probably end up fiberglassing it or something

Lowes has a pretty good selection of those plugs, and prolly a bit more organized the HD.

I found the perfect plug at ace hardware, it was a rubber plug meant for a sink. Had a smooth/flat top and was meant to drop into a sink to stop water from going down the drain or whatever, and it was already black, and only cost 79 cents

Im probably going to weld it and smooth with filler when I paint the car though
