Today I installed an aftermarket radio. Used it and it worked well all day, but as soon as night fell, I noticed that my lights on the dash under the steering wheel did not work. Speedometer and Odometer.

It looks like all other lights work except for these. When I use turn signal it works as well. Just curious if I did not connect something correctly. Thanks for the help.

 

Screwed with the dimmer maybe? It's the only thing I could even think would get near missing that up. Otherwise, you must've ripped out some cords....(Possibly coincidence?) Check fuses and the rest already too?


I've never had this issue and every car I've owned I immediately put in my own stereo.

 

I had that problem on my 93 accord and fixed it. Updated and posted my fix. It was an exposed dimmer wire arcing on the post - only thing was none of the parking lights worked tho.

Be nice to know what what kind of Accord this is, the gen's covered in this secton do have different set ups.
