Well I picked up my LS last night and wanted to bolt it in instantly...but I had a hot date who seemed to outwiegh the thought of finally gettin' my swap started so I held off till this mornin' and when I got up I had plenty of energy so here she is...

That seriously took you a morning to put in? How many swaps have you done?

I traded my CF hood for my friends LS block. Now that I recently got my smog done, the block is going in soon...LSVTEC.

it doenst take long to do complete swaps.. maybe like 2-3 hours ... I have done quite a few swaps though

This is my first swap by myself with nobody...it didn't take me all mornin' prolly about an hour to jiggle that beast in there But yeah I can't roll yet cause the ******' knuckles I bought were bad...but I wasn't payin' attention I'll be at the junk yard tomorrow or on Monday for sure...

Nice I have one of those (edit: whoops I have a b18b) sitting at home waiting for a new wire harness. Its fun but stock...isnt that fast.

Nice swap...ive got one that im working on too. I just need a $hit load more money to put it in . How did you get it so clean? Ive been cleaning mine up slowly but it isnt that clean yet. What steps did you use when cleaning it? Nice job.

fastest motor swap ive done was 4 hours sohc out ..dohc in and running..

Engine hoist...Sears and I get along great so I've got just about every unimpact wrench related tool there is, I'm not rich enough for a compressor yet but christmas is coming and I'm single so... And thanks for the comments on the cleanliness of my swap...I like to go fast but pay attention to detail, everybody around here has swaps but nobodies will be as clean as mine. :D

I got the hoist from my boy, he has a shop in my town and like a billion hoists. I guess it pays to know people.

Thats 2-3 hours for just putting the LS in right?? Cause i know its not running...well at least in the pic it isn't...check out the main wiring harness plugs on either end of the engine bay.
