I was dead set on ordering a front lip today because IMO the front end just doesn't look complete without one and the poly lip was on sale for 40.00 at andys auto sport.

After adding it to the cart and typing in all the billing info I see the shipping costs $65!! I thought this was a scam as the piece weighs a pound and i I've shipped turbo's for less.

It surely was not. after checking around 10 fairly popular parts sites with the same shipping prices I gave into ebay same exact piece 39.99 free shipping. mugen style poly lip

Anyone have this lip installed pics? I see alot of type r lips.

Just google it man. And $25 isn't too bad on shipping due to the lip's size. If you can pick one up from a shop locally you can get a better price most likely.

That looks great that's exactly what i was hoping it would look like just a few more inches in the front to minimize ground clearance.

These lips look terrible. Never will I make the mistake of buying a fake lip again.

 

Looks pretty good I'd try to body match it though just my personal opinion.

 

Yeah not gonna lie it's pretty ugly. I'd rather just get OEM CTR/SiR lips, fake Mugen and Spoon ones are always ugly as **** lol

 

$65 for shipping probably means a big box and the lip is not folded up. Cheaper shipping options come around when sellers fold the plastic lips and stuff them into boxes.

BTW my $35 lip came unfolded and in a huge box. AND got here in 3-4 days what you know about that??

 

Also for the record Shawn, no I did not have any fitment issues. It didn't mold perfectly to the bumper but it fit just fine. I would highly recommend painting the tops of the screws before you assemble. The silver screws sticking out look way better black.

Doesn't matter because the intercooler will distract anyone that doesn't care for the lip.

 

why not get a wings west rs lip...those are mugen replicas....gen 1.

It wasn't about the price of the part, It was that all these parts sites ****ing you with shipping.

I think the lip looks good. There's nicer ones and uglier ones it's poly so it's not gunna crack and that's good enough for me.

I also have a nice size intercooler up front.
