I have a H22 w/ a bad trani. I have an F series trani laying around and was wondering if it was possible to use it on the H22? I know you can swap heads between the two so I figured it might work. Any help would b greatly appreciated.

Yes, H and F trannys are interchangeable.

 

It will be alittle slower but It will work.. might as well do a clutch and rear main seal as they are easy to do while the trans is out

 

I am running h22 with f22 trans. Works great for me. Think positive, you go a little longer without having to shift. I feel like it decreases on mis-shifts also since you aren't shifting as quickly.
