new leds all around. need help
Hey guys I own a 95 honda del sol si and I just replaced every bulb except the headlights with Leds. I went to flip my turn signals on and they wont blink. I read that I need an electronic led flasher. They said I need to find mine and match it up with the pins on a chart from superbrightleds.com well I don't see mine on their. I looked up the dash and found the wire clip that goes in to make it blink and when I unplug it it doesn't blink but I can't find the actual unit with the pins. If someone could help me or even tell me which one I need that would be awesome thanks.
What exactly doesn't blink? the front? the back? or both front and back? Also, were they ever blinking before you changed them to led's? Either way they are supposed to blink but super fast (Hyperflash) which indicates a burnt out bulb because the led's draw very little current. what i would suggest you do is check the fuses and make sure the flasher relay is seated properly. As with led's installed you will need a load resistor to stimulate a filament bulb. those can be purchased on ebay or my personal favorite, V-leds

well neither the back nor front blink and yes they worked before. I have checked the fuses. I found electronic LED flashers which replace the old ones but i cant seem to find one that matches. Also i dont wanna have to hook load resistors up to EVERY bulb that is gonna need a blinker when i can just hook up one flasher and be done with it.
Try the electronic flasher relay first. Your local auto parts store probably carries the one you need. Just take the stock relay in with you and compare it to the ones they have on the wall. The LED flashers don't have load sensing circuitry built into them like the OEM relay and will sequence regardless of whether a bulb is in place or not. I got mine at Advance Autoparts for like $12.
Once you have the relay in place, you'll know if the LED bulbs are bad or possibly inserted backwards. Although I'd image these bulbs already have reverse polarity protection built in.

Ok well i looked forthe relay and i found this.....http://i662.photobucket.com/albums/u...-08-37_189.jpg after finding the turn signal/hazard relay missing (but my blinkers and hazards still work with regular bulbs) i started to look for the noise that the cicking was coming from and i found this......http://i662.photobucket.com/albums/u...0_178.jpg....i unplugged it and it stopped clicking and blinking (with regular bulbs) when i swapped to leds in didnt work. any1 got any advice on this???
I have all LEDs in 3 of our cars, and I don't know why any of your lights would stop working entirely. LEDs generally just cause the 'fast blink' due to the lower resistance.
The OEM Honda flasher relay should work fine other than the fast blink.

I've always had good luck with www.superbrightleds.com, they've got a bulb finder, as well as a relay finder for the Civic. My relay cost about $13.00. I've replaced the tail lights, brake lights, high brake light, and the license plate light. Next job is the front turn signals after I can get the flasher relay and rear turn signals changed.
The only problem I've found so far is that the damned relay is tucked behind a really thick cable loom under the dash and trying to work around that is not easy.
There was a reply from another user here, but typically, I can't find it now, where he said that pulling the relay involves moving the retaining tabs away from the relay body. Some kind of tool to help hold the tabs back would prevent them from breaking when you pull out the relay. He said that his tabs broke, too, but that the socket holds the new relay in pretty snugly.

is your stock flasher a two pin? I would try an electronic flasher that has a third ground wire coming out. I had this problem on one of my other cars and this did the trick.
