Default 94 civic ex auto harness for gsr swap!!!

What's up HT,
I'm confused about something...I was doing research.and now I'm more confused...ok I have a 94 civic ex and it was a automatic ...I did the 5 speed conversion already and now I just recently bought a gsr swap...my question is can I use my ex auto engine harness for the gsr swap...I have a friend that said that its a headache so I did some research and some say I can use and some say something about rewire pins or something...is the harness plug and play or do I have to do modication to work? Or should I just get a integration harness.... can someone help me I greatly appreciated...thanks

you will need to add the wires for the knock and the IAB on the gsr, and you will need to seperate the O2 wires from the loom and reroute to the new location of the O2 sensor location which is closer to the cat,

this will show you what to do with the wires at the ECU

Does that applies to my automatic harness? Also my gsr comes with skunk2 intake Mani....I don't think I don't have to worry about the IAB...is that correct?

if you are not using the stock intake manifold you don't have to worry about IAB, if you have already converted to 5 speed for the d series everything should be the same for the B, but you may wanna wait for someone who has expierence with automatic harness

Well I think its a plug and play since it's already running...I am aware of 2 plugs that wont be needed ...I just got confused because a friend said that its a pain to make it work and I should get the manual harness instead...but thanks for your help bro I appreciated...

you can swap the alt plugs and I believe you can just repin the dizzy, it might just be cheaper to get an obd2 ls harness and depin the the vtec wires from your z6 harness and add them to the LS harness, that way you could use the dizzy, injectors and alt from the gsr without any extra work, the p28 would need to be chipped with at least a base map to run the gsr decently

Oh ok...I understand but don't u think it will be a lot easier if I get gsr harness instead since vtec and knock wiring is already there? But ill see what Ill do...right now I'm just collecting parts to get ready for the swap...oh one last thing bro...do I use the gsr power steering bracket to mount my d series power steering pump or do I have to change to the whole gsr pump?? Thanks in advance ...

wow must of posted in another thread or something lol, my post went missing lol

I wouldn't be surprised if the gsr harness is double the cost of an ls harness

when I did my b16a(obd1) swap the pumps were the same it was the mounting brackets that were different, you will need to check the hardline in your car and see if it will bolt to the gsr pump

All '92 - '95 EX/Si engine harnesses are the same, it doesn't matter if it came from an automatic or a 5 speed, it's the same harness. It's the cabin harness that differs on those vehicles.

That said an OBD2 integra harness will make your life easier.
