1. buy spoiler
2. set it on your trunk and mark spots to drill
3. drill
4. screw spoiler in
5.???
6. done
i've never installed a spoiler and even i know how to do it... more or less, it just takes common sense.

sounds like you need to take it to a shop and pay someone to do it for you. probably will cost you the same as having to by a new trunk after you drill the holes in the wrong spot.

There are plenty aftermarket available on eBay that match the fit and color to your car exactly. There are a bunch of Acura owner's at a different site that have used these for roof, and trunk OEM style spoilers with great results. These are identical looking to the OEM versions and a lot more affordable. From the reports, the paint on them is holding up better than the fiberglass OEM versions also. Google ebay spoilers acura or ebay spoilers honda civic and you'll get a bunch of hits.

Make sure to measure and mark ( in a removable/ erasable fashion) before you drill. If the holes aren't even you will screw yourself. The process is easy. I have done one myself ( on my old EJ6 sedan). Just take your time and do it right.
