Ok, so I finally got a good offer from a friend to paint my car. I'm gonna start my body work soon, but what color should I get it painted? It's a 93 del sol s. Currently milano red. I am thinking keeping it the stock color, going Samba Green-my favorite color, possibly even captiva blue or black.

 

When I paint my del sol I'm doing dark purple or black. Mine is red also

Also make sure to put a 3 foot plywood spoiler on the back, but paint it solid gold so it stands out real well.

 

What ever color the door jambs and engine bay are.

So paint it green. It's your car and your money. Why do you people always need to get some one else opinion?

 

Red, but not Milano red...

 

Because its more $ to do jams and bay, so I'm wanting a second opinion. That's all

 

I can assure you its far more expensive to paint it one color (based on someone else's opinion), then change your mind about painting it another down the road (to a color you actually want).

 

That is exactly why I picked red, my 94 was Milano red, I just did not want another Milano red Honda/Acura, I wanted something diff. even if only a little diff.

I got the car brand new in late 93, [when they were first introduced] and I liked the idea of a "little red sports car" but then once I had it I noticed all the other Milano red Honda/Acura. 94

 

You sound like my wife when she goes shopping. Make up your mind and paint it. Jeez.
