Creaking clutch pedal
I have been trouble shooting this myself for quite some time, the car in question is a 97 d16y7 with a s20 off a 93 lx any help is greatly appreciated.
In January, the clutch was fine but started to not want to come off the floor when it was really cold out.
So i bleed new fluid into the clutch, Gunk's hydraulic clutch fluid from o'rileys, then the creaking feeling and sound when I pushed in the clutch began.
I then put up with it for a month, bought a new clutch master cylinder and put gunk's dot 3 brake fluid in that was on the shelf from the recent brake flush on another car, the creak was gone until the car got up to temp on a longer drive, so I was pissed, flushed it again, the same problem came back so I chalked it up to being an old piece of ****.
Got a new slave cylinder last week and stainless steel braided clutch line, installed those and bleed the clutch again with some more of the dot 3 fluid, it felt amazing until i drove it to the city 30miles away and the car got up to temp, then the creaking returned....
I am so stumped as to what it could be, why on earth would it be fine after bleeding it but return when it reached temp?

I wouldnt rule out a little air in the sytem still.
when i bleed the clutch line I will pump that f%$#er 100 times with decent speed with the resevoir car off.
Then do a couple air bleeds, always been spot on for me.

by creak is this only when you press the pedal
if correct try taking out the pedal arm and lube the bush on the pedal shaft
its a known place for it to creak/squeek

It only creaks when I move the clutch pedal, I will check in the AM if it is coming from the pedal area now, when I did it last week it was coming from the slave cyl area so I assumed that was it...
3 things to check
1 pedal bush its plastic and drys out
2 push rods on both slave and master can be lubed at the pivot points
3 throw out bearing this is more of a problem to check
( with the throw out bearing get another person to push the clutch to help you find the noise)

It feels like resistance when I push down the pedal, and let it up, like it gets hung up for a second, I think its that bushing, anyone know if there are any alternatives to the dealership for the pedal pivot bushing, or can I grease this one like a pig and it will be fine?

Is it doing anything similar to what I am describing in this post?
get under the dash and spray wd40 on one moving part at one point of movement. do this and test it at one point at a time until you find which spot eliminated the squeak.
Found the problem, upon further inspection I noticed the spring on the pedal wasn't attached to one of the white clips, so when I press it down and release it is sliding on the firewall making that noise.
I put high temp wheel bearing grease on the point where the slave plunger hits the fork.
