Default Bleeding coolant help

I just changed the water outlet cover on my first gen b16 and cleaned my IACV so i go to bleed my coolant but nothing really happened? I turned the car on with no radiator cap on a slight incline, let it get to operating temperature then put the heat on max. Nothing changed though? My thermostat stayed normal, no fans kicked on, coolant never bubbled up or boiled.

I did a little burping when i first refilled the radiator but thought for sure id need to flush it more. i squeezed the lower radiator hose while i filled it up but would that really be enough?

Guess I'm just a little paranoid. I waited a good 20-30 minutes with the heater on but those damn fans didn't kick on. Oh well, appreciate the help... again. xD

The 1st Gen B16's should have a "bleeder screw" located on the thermostat housing. Test the fan switch to make sure it is functional.

He just changed the water housing which the original had a bleeder screw and he broke it and got a new one from the dealership, which they don't make them with bleeder screws anymore. So thats y there is no bleeder screw there to bleed, no need to bleeed.
