Yes or No quesition!! Help!

Can this oval custer cover fit in a 88-89 crx dash without modification? Can't find the answer to this question.

What is it out of? I can't tell from the pics. From the looks, it's out of a 90-91 though, and that would be a no.

Im not sure what year its out of thats why i need help. Well then would i need to get a 88-89 oval cluster cover to fit in my 88-89 crx?

is it me, or does that look like a 88-89 the 90-91 look like this...

the holes for the dimmer and hazard switch don't match up to the 88-89 components.

try it.. it's only like 4 bolts to take it off.. there has to be a first person to figure it out.
