Default BC specIII install valvetrain noise

so i just finished installing my cams and I turned it on all good just reved it a bit and i could hear my valvetrain noise. had just did a valve adjustment with the stock cams it was all quiet. Before I installed the cams O asked BC for valve clearance specs and said to leave them stock clearance. im thinking thats not right. any one have experience with these cams? thanks in advance H-T

Buddy Club Spec 3 or Brian Crower?

Always do a valve adjustment with new cams.

so valves were off a lil too loose i re did them to in 6 ex 7. with cams would it be normal for the valve clearance loosen up its only been about 100 miles since i adjusted them. any who i turned the car on its a lil quiter but i noticed my timing belt was a bit loose and kinda flapped so imma re do it tomorrow see how it goes.

They only come loose if you didn't tighten them down enough in the first place.
