Removing Exhaust Heat Shield????
Ok well im going to get my Heatshield painted i see that their are two bolts on the top and one in the bottom. Also see i will need to remove the oxygen sensor. Im just wondering if their is anything else to remove before i go forward with it. If i remove the oxygen sensor will my check engine light come on?

Which heatshield are you referring to? The one on the cat (#5 & #6), or the one that is bolted to the bottom of the car that runs from the downpipe/flexpipe all the way to the muffler (#27, #28, & #30)?

Just unplug the sensor like everyone said. After you put the heatshield back on just plug it back in. It should slide off over the oxygen sensor would be my guess.
lol it won't throw a code unless you drive the car.
