d16z6 distributor on d15b motor

Hey guys Im thinking about putting a d16z6 distributor on my d15b motor. I know it doesnt bolt up without modifing it, but will it work? Has anyone ever tried it?

If you are using a P28 and modify the distributor, then all is good.

if it is jdm d15 vtec it is direct swap, if it is a b7 or b2 then it needs y8 dizzy.

the D16Z6 distributor will only work if you have an OBD1 ECU

P06 is non-vtec (unless you have had it chipped and converted)
I'm assuming your D15 is non-vtec as well?

If so, then the Z6 distributor is not the right part for you.
the internals of the non-vtec and vtec distributor are different.
