Default Clifford AG4 Wireless Immobilizer ?'s

I had the alarm installed for a few weeks when one day the immobiler was activated . Here's what happened. I accidently set the alarm off . I disarmed the arm got in and attempted to drive. The car kept stalling and then would not start at all. I tried arming and disarming several times with no progress. So I cut the wires that the wireless immobilizer was connected to and spliced them together and it started right up. I followed Clifford's instructions to the letter. Like I said it worked for weeks before this happened.

1. What did I do wrong?
2. How do I fix it?
3. What should I do to keep it from happening again?

The rest of the alarm works perfectly all the time. I am clueless on how to fix this. I could really use some advice from someone familiar w/ this alarm. Thanks.

Steve
