Bucking in first gear when cruising...
Alright well I'm running into a problem with my 1995 Integra with a B18A1 bottom & a B16A head, first of all here's the problem when ever I'm taking off in first or just cruising around a parking lot the car starts to buck like crazy and not just a little nudge either, like it'll throw you into the steering wheel if you're not careful. It happens whenever I'm in low RPMs and whenever I left off of the throttle or give it some gas, it also happens sometimes in 2nd too. Now I know it could just be me and I could just suck at driving stick, but lets say it's not and something is wrong, well what would I have to check? I've searched multiple forums and all come up with something different and no definitive answer, some say it could be a dirty IACV, wrong gas, fuel pump, grounds, mounts (already checked them, they're fine), just a whole lot of things. But I was wondering if y'all could shed some light on this situation, any help would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks!
And here's something else I also found the IACV is blocked off with this piece of cardboard in the picture & the MAP sensor is not connected or the IAT sensor, could these be reasons for the bucking in 1st gear?

CEL is on, but it's throwing a code 6, which is the ECT sensor. But I recently bought a new one and switched it out. So I know it's fine. No other CEL is showing. Sorry for the lack of details, if y'all need more info to help just let me know what y'all need and I'll see what I can do

First question is, are you sure you changed the ECT senor and not the ECT sending unit or ECT switch?
The ECT sensor is a 2wire sensor, one wire is a red/white, the other is green/white, [90-93] green/blue, [94-97] and green/black, [98] sorry all I have right now, 99-up may be a diff. color again.
What year and trim level is your "Teggy"?
Have you had a buddy try and drive the car, sombody that knows how to drive a standard, maybe it is just you.
Sensors and "valves" can't just be "blocked off" or not mounted, you will have problems.
Did you get the car like that? 94

My bad forgot to edit that part, it's a 1995 Integra with a B18A1 bottom & a B16A head. And I'm pretty sure I replaced the ECT sensor after all you were the one that told me where it was
, it's right under the distributor.
And I've had my father drive it and the same thing happens with him & my brother too. But maybe we all suck, who knows.
And I didn't block them off, the previous owner did, I got the car like this and I'm trying to get everything running the correct way and not just bypass everything. Thanks for the help though

It was somebody else's work, this whole swap seems half-assed. So I'm going through it all trying make everything the right way, only problem I've never worked on a car before & I'm learning everything from forums & manuals, and just giving it a shot
but I'll put the IACV on right and let y'all know how it went.
