Ek acting weird after cleaning iacv
So my car has been having a random stumble in idle. I watched a video showing someone cleaning an iacv. I cleaned it with brake clean. I also cleaned the throtle body as well as all of the holes that are in the tb for the map sendor ect.Start her up and i all of a sudden get the iacv idle that sounds like i have 272 cams in it and idles high( nO tach but sounds like 1500rpm) i just got a cel so i will report back with what it was.
check the vacuum hoses, I knocked mine off the back of the intake mani when I cleaned my iacv and it drove me crazy for two days trying to figure out what was wrong. I even bought a new iacv just to find out it was a vacuum line.
there should be a diagram off all the vacuum lines under your hood.
hope its just a vacuum line. GL

I just cleared the code, it was a IACV code, then I also went the extra mile to unhook the battery
.I went back in and re cleaned everything. I also put a very little amount of gasket sealer in there. I hunted when I first started but it didn't rev to 1500 again. After about a minute it went away. it was good on my short trip before. We will see how cold start is tomorrow.
