There is a banging sound every single time the window is almost at the top and then it stops and then after a few more turns, continues to roll back up. Anyone have the same problem or know what the problem is? It gets kind of annoying especially when I pull out of a drive through and the window won't go up without giving a fight..

 

Your window regulator is going on you, ebay or wreckers for a cheap replacement. Its a common problem in the EK's.

 

Is there some kind of temporary fix on it? Maybe lube or something until I have time to go hit up a scrapyard

 

Only thing I can say is crank it to where its f's up, and use your hands to pull it up... but as a quick fix I dont think there is one. My hatch had this exact same problem, ended up breaking the handle and everything haha good luck

 

Pull off the door panel and check it. There is no quick fix.
