i am pretty sure its called the starter relay, i know for a fact it is not the main relay....Is there any different names for it....If i look it up online like on napa or any other parts stores, it doesnt list any such thing? Although on napa auto parts webpage, i found a part called the a/c comp or control relay that looks just like it, but why would the a/c tie into the starter????? If i pull the relay out, the car wont even turn over......help

 

I figured it out..."multifunction" or accessory relay is what it is also called. thanks

 

is it the one under the main relay? the one that's attached on a bracket?

 

yes it is...black outside, except the bottom is white around the connectors
