Default RIGHT SIDE HEADLIGHT LOW

So I just took out the HID kit on my EJ1 and put the stock headlight set up, but the right side is super dim. At first I thought it might be the contacts were on wrong and i had reversed the polarity, but it wasnt that. I switched bulbs from the left side but issue remains, highbeams are the same issue. Any idea whats causing this??

Was the HID kit installed by you? or you got the car like that? Also what you're saying is one side headlight is always dimmed even if you switch bulbs from left to right, high beam to low beam?

it could be a blown fuse, the same thing happened to my friends 03 civic and it was just a blown low beam fuse.

Was the Hid kit for both low and hi beam or just low beam? Also how does your headlight socket look, factory socket or aftermarket? sounds like it is wired incorrectly if one side is low. When you say you reversed polarity, what exactly do you mean?

the kit was only 1 stage, no high beams. i thought the wiring was off so i moved the wires to different positions but no go so i put them back to original position. i replaced socket cause i thought there might be a short.

From the socket, there are 3 wires, you just needed to move 2 wires as the black was ground and stays the same, so those were the 2 you moved around and still no results so you put them back the way it originally was, So then i would check the fuse as Gold Pwr stated for that one side headlight.

Yes, look for your specific Honda here and it will tell you what the fuses are.
