my 1995 honda accord 2.2l vtec doesnt start. My distributor only shoots a spark when it wants or when i play with the smaller connector of the two that come out of the distibutor its a little broken but it doesnt convinse me that its the problem. when i try cranking it and stop the ignition coil starts shooting out sparks at random. at first i thought that was the problem but no change so i dont know. someone help please

 

Have you checked your fuel pressure? Is you main relay working fine b/c they have a tendency to fail. When you turn the key to the on position, does you check engine light come on and go off after 2 seconds?

 

il have to check the relay then but the fuel pressure is fine but il double check it still doesnt answer why my ignition coil seems to be throwing sparks even when your not cranking engine or its completely off

 

my main relay, is good but my check engine light does go on and off in two seconds, and i have feul but now i am not getting any spark at all
