Best Offset for my 02 EX?
Im starting to look at wheels, I cant seem to get a straight answer as far as what offset and width I can run on my car without having issues. Id like them to be as wide as possible without rubbing.
Stock ride height, I would like to stay with 15's, maybe a 15x7?
I searched the wheel/tire area and couldn't come up with anything for stock height, everyone is lowered and runs camber to fit their wheels, I just want something a little better than the stock steelies with covers.
There is a local guy here on CL that sells STR wheels for 300$, they are almost all 15x7.5 with a +15 offset. I don't think that will fit my car though.
Thanks for the help.

As for your request, D-West:
For a 7" wide wheel, you won't be able to go much lower than +25 for an offset. Ideally, you'll want around +35 for an offset. For a 7.5" wide wheel, you'll be looking at about +32 offset, with an ideal offset for tire fitment being +42. You should be able to run 225/50/15 or 205/55/15's.
That's not exactly all that factual or informative, to be honest.

From the research ive gathered, 7" seems to be a common wheel width for a 15". What offset and tire is ideal to match the stock diameter for a 15x7?
Yeah I am not interested in a large wheel, I drive my car daily and I like the ride comfort of a larger tire, as well as tire availability, and cost, and gas mileage, the list goes on.

Ok so a +35 offset for a 15x7 wheel, and what size tire to match stock? The tire sizes you gave me were after mentioning the 7.5" wheel. Excuse me if I am confused a little.
Well, those tire sizes will work for 15x7's, as well. You could also run 195/60/15's, as well. Any one of those three sizes will work just fine. 195/60/15's would be closest to your factory size, and thus ride the best.
