So I just got a 97 civic lx, I'm new to civics from the drift world, the car it self has unknown name headers and exhaust except it has a test pipe and I need a cat for smog, all the lx cats seem to be a one piece manifold, what cat can I get for my car?

 

Any cat that will fit and allow you to pass emissions? Am I not understanding the question? If you're in California you will be limited by what you can install.

Yes I am in Cali, I just need to know what cat would fit my civic since the test pipe is a bolt on and the cat I'll need would have to be a bolt on instead of the stock 1 piece cat manifold

If you've got a header get a cat and midpipe from a '96 - '00 EX coupe/sedan.
