YOUR favorite boost gauges
wassup guys..just curious what brand boost gauge u guys all use..or just what brand gauges in general? i am in the market for one and i do NOT want to deal with an inaccurate boost gauge again..i used to have a Autometer sportscomp boost gauge and it was ALWAYS off by 1-2 psi... i had a SC with a 4psi pulley and it ALWAYS read somewhere between 5-7psi. i checked the vacuum lines, etc and everything was fine..so i guess all the rumors about Autometer being inaccurate came true in my situation.
so let me know wat u guys think..just want to see if any Autometer gauge is worth trusting..or if i have to spend the extra $$$ for a Greddy or APEXi one..
EDIT: im only referring to mechanical boost gauges btw

actually, come to think of it, i'm sure Defi released a cheaper set of meters in the US which were mechanical..
where can i find them for that price? lowest i foudn ANY greddy gauge for was roughly $100. i am also looking for a 52mm one also.
thanks for the input guys..looks like autometer isnt too big of a hit here..hehe..more suggestions would be nice

GReddy doesn't make 52mm mechanical gauges.
My favorite meters are the ones I can actually afford to buy. Inaccurate or not... its better than looking at pictures of pretty greddy gauges on my laptop.
are there any autometer gauges that are accurate and doesnt flutter much? i thought autometer had "levels" or series on models..
btw, i was looking for a 52mm boost gauge that read in psi..

There is a post on here, maybe on pages 2,3 that give an EGT and Boost for 200 I think, and they are GReddy Gauges. 52mm etc. I'll try and get the link ...

why are you looking only for mechanicals? cheapest and best non-autometer and non-vdo gauges are greddy's in my opinion. mine worked great.
if you want a good mechanical one that reads in psi, then look into omori gauges.

I think next time I'll try Greddy.
