Default b16a2. obd2 to obd1 help

Ok so I'm about to do my first swap in my 92 cx hatch. I got a b16a2 and the guy gave me a obd2a gsr harness could I use that harness and plug in to the main harness( which is obd1) or could I use my obd1 harness that's in my car already and just splice injector wires and alternator plug into the obd2 injector clips.

+1 interested. Ask them how they plugged the obd2b plug into the obd1 plugs. I would like to know this info. If they say jumper harness...waste of money...

If its your first swap i think try to get the vtec obd1 dizzy. You should be able to sell the OBD2 dizzy. Then make your vtec sub harness with pins from the junkyard/parts car. Jusy my .02

I'd use the obd2a gsr harness, get a obd2a gsr dizzy, wont have to change much else really being a 92 its already wired for vtec, only thing you may have to change is 1 wire to 4 wire O2 that's all i can think of right now

^this. The O2 will have all the wires on the GSR harness and all the other wires are already there for the 02. Youll need to wire up knock sensor and the IABs for the intake from the sensors to the ECU.

Can OP use a wire harness from a 92-95 Ex and wire it up with a chipped P28 running a B16A2 map?

Just use obd1 injectors, get a drizzy jumper harness and get an obd1 alt, either an obd1 b16 ecu or a chipped P28. No cutting or splicing. Just plug in and go

I'm doing this swap in my 93 sol. Use your same wire harness. Get an obd1 dizzy. Wire you harness for vtec then get a p28 ecu chipped to run a b16a2
