Default Differnet F22A intake manifold options

I dropped an F22a into my EG and... there are major hood clarence issues. What other manifolds can I run that are shorter then the stock F22A1 manifold in terms of height?

I am aware that you can run the Euro R manifold to the tune of $300... but that doesn't exactly sound like something that would interest me in terms of price. For that price I could have a machine shop shave the IM down since it is 2 piece IM.

What other alternatives do I have?

Thanks!

I believe the H23 IM fits the A heads but I am not sure if you'll have better clearance with it.

it's not any shorter than the stock F22A manifold.

OP: would cutting the webbing of the hood allow clearance? Do you have an F22A6 with the IAB plate? if so a IAB delete could give you the clearance you need.

It does not have the butterfly setup. I think I am going to take the IM off and have some material machined off of both sides of the plenum but then I am worried about it bolting together.

I may look into the H23 IM setup. Ive herd it is a better IM anyways.

Does anyone know if there is a difference in height with the euro R manifold?

pretty sure the Euro R gives plenty of clearance compared to others.

this thread should be helpful for pics of the manifold and good info on making one work.
