Default 92 civic front bumper

Greetings. I have a front bumper for a 92 four door civic. Is that bumper going to be compatible with a two door civic of the same year or is it not? I know corner lights are not compatible with 2dr vs 4dr, but am unsure about the bumper.

Please let me know, thanks

its a different design so im going to say no it wont fit up. the 2dr/3dr cars have a spot for the fog lights and the 4dr does not.

they can work if u dont want the fogs i would assume or even mod the bumper to fit the fogs but its easier to get the correct one

How about you don't spread false information??

Here is the interchange for EG Civic body panels..

Front bumper - Hatch/Coupe are the same
Rear bumper - Sedan/Coupe are the same
Hood - Hatch/Coupe the same
Corner lights - Hatch/Coupe the same
Fenders - Hatch/Coupe the same
Taillights - Sedan/Coupe the same

So if you have a coupe and needs parts.. the front end MUST be coupe/hatch. Back end can be coupe or sedan.

Sedans have it's own front bumper, fenders, hood and corner lights that are not interchangeable.

Hatchbacks have their own rear bumper that is not interchangeable.

Hope this helps.

I don't recall that the OP mentioned anything about modding anything.

Again. The OP did not ask if he could mod it to make it fit. So you were wrong when you said it would fit. Can you install it? Yes. But fitment would be horrible. as confirmed by the pics in your link.

Fitment looked pretty good imo lol hell if someone saw it in person they wouldnt see anythin about torment problems unless they are like on it searching for it... And u are right about him not asking if it needs to be modded to fit but he asked if it can fit and the answer is yes it can fit. Might need small modding but yes it can fit

I said they are not interchangeable which they are not. You can put a 94-01 Integra front end just about on any Honda... Does that mean it is interchangeable? NO it does not.

The only reason fitment looked good on your link is because of the 1pc headlights. If it weren't for that the oem corner lights would be sticking out like crazy and looking like ****. I've seen coupe/sedan bumpers mismatched in person and it usually always looks and fits horrible. It's stupid to do when these bumpers are only $20-40 all day every day.. Might as well just buy the correct one.
