Default b16 ecu help

Hey very sorry if there is another post on this but I couldn't find one. I have a 99 b16 in my 96 coupe running on a p28. So here's the question.... should I keep looking for a p2t or should I get a pct from a guy selling one online? Also its a slow b16 for somereason. Vtec isn't very noticeable when hit. Bad tune on ecu? I'm not to smart with ecu haha thanks guys.

THe P28 is based upon the d16 and has differing values of fuel and timing from the B16 engine. you need to TUNE this engine with the ECU you have, but it won't do any good for a stock engine. Until you have other modications that warrant some sort of tuning, yes, continue looking for a P2T.. (which I happen to have to sell, but I'd rather answer your question first)

I believe my p28 is tuned for the swap but not 100%. It runs it good no problem. Just the vtec hardly hits and check engine light appears when it does. What are you looking to get out of your p2t? Also I'm not the person who did the swap I know the guys and I know they hack **** together so its a work in progress making it how its suppose to be. Thanks for your reply

What year is your motor? is it wired up correctly for a OBD-2 ECU? (Crankshaft Position sensor) Also you say you can't really notice you hitting vtec. How do you know everything works and is tuned correctly? Have you timed your dizzy?

Pgmfi.org for years of good non specific reading (95% of it is people asking for hand outs) but there are some Gems in that site for sure.

Also your username wouldn't happen to be the same for Xbox live would it? If so, I know you....
