ok i have a 92 si with a b16a. I changed the cap and rotor on my dizzy and i turned on the car and it turned on fine. After i changed the cap and rotor i changed the hoses that goes from the intake manafold to the brake booster. After i did that i went to go turned on my car and it cracked for about 5 to 6 seconds then turned on and befor it would still lag a lil but not as much as it is now. I put the old cap and rotor back on to see if the new ones i put were diffective but it still did it. I also put the two old hoses back and it still did it. So if anybody has any ideas on how i can fix it pls let me know

 

I would check the coil.

 

I put my friends dizzy and the problem went away so i know its something with the dizzy. So i changed the coil and igniter on my dizzy and the problem was still there so now i dont know wat it could be??...may be the wire??..any other ideas

 

check map sensor

 

You know that a new distributor will fix the problem. Just buy a new distributor.

Its not the map sensor because when i put my friends dizzy it went away..and im not gana go spend 200 dollars on a new dizzy wen mine was workin just fine 5 mins befor it started happening. And i had a loose wire so that was my preoblem.
