Can anyone help me with this problem? I have a 2002 rsx type s with the factory bose radio. First the radio stations wouldn't come in. It was just static and then one day they worked until I hit a bump. So I hit the side of the radio and it worked again for about a minute or two. Now as of this morning the radio is playing cd's and tapes but has no sound at all. Do I have a bad radio or is there something else wrong? And what would it be?

 

It sounds like a wiring issue if your radio still functions normally but the sound skips with each bump.

 

Sounds like the antenna signal wire is loose/disconnected. Pull out the head unit and inspect the antenna wire.
