I'm using a GSR blox intake manifold and omni throttle body for my LSvtec.

Just want to verify before I buy one, (this is in an EG hatch), I would have to use a GSR bracket and cable correct? Or are there other alternatives?

Blox is the same design as the Skunk2 and ITR mani. Easiest route is but the ITR cable and stay bracket. That should work with the Omni tb.

 

Is the Omni for GSR or ITR? If you're running the blox manifold you should have gotten a TB for ITR otherwise you will need to use the GSR cable and bracket due to the way the butterfly rotor is clocked. Your problem then will be the throttle cable rubbing against the hood since your TB is now mounted higher up in the engine compartment.

Best solution is to get the TB for ITR and use the ITR cable and bracket.

 

The receipt says Omni Throttle Body B/H/F Series 68mm. So I'm assuming GSR Cable and Bracket will have to be what I use. The way the butterfly rotor sits on the TB is the cable will run underneath it. It doesn't sit higher than the TB at all, so I don't think I'll have an issue with rubbing

 

I believe all aftermarket TB's have options for both the GSR/ITR cable. Meaning there are two holes on the tb one for the gsr cable end to go into and the other for the ITR

 

I think you are right. In which case, OP should get ITR cable and bracket.

OP when I say your TB will sit higher, it is because of the differences between the OEM B18C1 intake manifold, which is a 2 stage manifold with a TB opening that is lower in the engine compartment, vs all the aftermarket manifolds which are single stage and have the TB opening higher up like an LS or ITR. This is why most aftermarket intakes are the similar, if not the same, for LS and ITR but different for GSR. Can you post a pic of your TB throttle reel?

Positive, I just installed a Skunk2 IM on my GSR. The ITR cable is actually the shortest. Just get ya any year ITR cable and bracket!

I paid 36 bucks for mine.

^^This too. I had to use the old throttle cable pulley off my d series. It appears you already have the correct pulley, so just get the ITR cable and bracket.
