Default Fake J's Racing intake (Pic).

Here is a picture of my friend's FAKE J's Racing style intake.

It looked the same as the real one to me and my friend told me there is definitely an improve on throttle response and power over the stock intake.

The only thing I don't like about it is the color, for sure I will ask and see if other colors are available. If not, I would just do what my friend did. Get some heat wrap and wrap the whole intake.

I will get one myself soon, just keeping my finger cross that there is other colors available.

Looks like the intake meant for a civic...

Same design, different color. Are you sure it's a knock off?

For sure it is a knock off, if not, it shouldn't be this CHEAP. I think it is around $200 CAD at max. And it also come in Blue and carbin fibre color too I just told.

The civic intake only costs around 125 us...so, they could be the same thing.

hell, J's could be using this one and slapping their name on it..who knows..

I hope the CF one will fit, because I really don't like a RED color intake.

Despite popular belief, there isn't a Civic/Integra specific design. They're both dimensionaly the same. You can put the plastic or cf version on either car and it wouldn't matter.
They ARE dimensionally DIFFERENT. There is no way a Civic intake will fit onto an Integra. They are shaped differently.

The civic one curls towards the passenger side fender at the end.

The Integra one points towards the coolant overflow bottle.

pic thanks to Ex0dy

I know Viren (b18bturbo) can get them, b/c both he and I go through the same distributor for that kind of stuff (ie: imitation stuff and SRR products), but he can get it for you quicker than I can b/c he's in Dallas and I'm over here in IN. The distributor specializes in making name-brand, good quality imitation stuff for reasonable prices.

For that intake, the catalog I have only has listings for EG's, EK's, del Sol's, and CRV's. No Integra-specific application. There are a couple different colors besides that red color. No carbon fiber for that application tho.

something like Monster Intake or something
Same here, if i'm not mistaken, i believe some company like reactive or somebody has them.

either way, it bites the dust. it still gonna suck some hot air from the engine bay.

the only thing I see worth buying is perhaps the wieght of a C/F piece.

Instead of Chrome intakes for "bling bling" looks,as in Carbon Fiber for the "Bang Bang",< I have alot of money looks

You are correct Pat, and I was wrong. Don't really know why I said that, even after seeing both pieces in person

Integra

Civic

I am sorry to say but that is the original version of the fat intake. It is called Simota, made in Taiwan, released around 4 years ago.
