Default B18b1 build help please

95 Gs-R swapped with a B18B1. It has an lsd trans. It is stock. My goal is to later on boost this car and I want to get the car up to 250 horsepower. I know how honda-tech is with posting about stuff that has been covered over and over again but I just need to sent in the right direction with this. I could not find a full thread that outlines everything through and through. If someone could provide me with a thread or just give me their thoughts.
Anyways, I am a noob, that is obvious.
Here is what I was thinking...I don't care if its vtec or non vtec just let me know what you guys think.

ARP Rod bolts and headstuds
underdrive pully
82 mm bore
P30 pistons
ITR oil pump
Crower dual Valve springs
Crower stage 2 cams
Blox Intake Manifold
Skunk2 exhaust and header
Short throw shifter
AEM CAI

Please don't post stuff like, "do more research" or anything like that just put me in the right direction. I know I am a noob. This is obvious. Thanks.

I found a full thread on a good B20 LS/Vtec build. Could I use that same setup for my B18?

If you want to boost the motor and make 250 ponies then just leave it. Maybe get some injectors or get yours cleaned, but your motor can make 250 stock no problems.

Do you mean by rebuilding the engine? What do you mean by just leave it?

If your goal is 250 boosted then you can achieve that by running the motor stock with a turbo. If the engine needs a rebuild than go for it, but since your goal is only 250 then you really don't "need" to build the motor.

What would I need to install on my car to get the engine ready for turbo?

Your car should be ready to be converted to run a turbo system as of now if it's healthy. There should be a thread in the turbo section about the install and parts you will need.

Im contemplating on running the same setup and decent power. Cheapest reliable turbo kit is the go-autoworks $1999.99 kit.

Yeah man 250 is doable with stock motor. If you wanted to be extra safe you could rebuild it first like I am currently doing using forged rods and pistons. I am going for 300-350 though. You don't need headwork done at all. Stock head will achieve 400hp no prob.

Yep i have a stock b18b motor with a turbo setup and am making over 250hp on a conservative street tune, so just what other people are saying you don't need to build the block nor head if you don't have the extra money, and def don't need2 sleeve it. It's in the tune.......

Setup: off the top of my head this is what I have...
Precision 6262s turbo charger
Precision 600HP intercooler
Tial 44mm MV-R WG
Tial Type Q bov
Ramhorn turbo manifold
Aluminum 2.5" intercooler piping
Walbrow 255lph fuel pump
RC 550 injectors (had to add resistor box)
MTX-L Wideband (necessary for tuning)
Mishimoto dual core aluminum half radiator w/slimfan
NGK iridium spark plugs and wires
P28 ECU with Neptune Demon board
OB2a to OBD1 conversion harness
then all your couplers and t-bolt clamps
ACT stage 2 clutch with competition clutch 8.8lb flywheel
3" exhaust with high flow resonator (no cat)

Keep in mind when I put this setup together I was thinking ahead for my built engine...aka i did not buy a kit, its a custom setup which you could do too.

Cool, thanks for posting this. This will definitely help me. What kind of exhaust did you install? I don't know what brands to buy at all, I was looking at Skunk2, I have had Skunk2 in the past but I don't know what the best is. I was looking at Mugen, I'm sure they have the best but they are expensive as hell obviously.

Yep when I put my built engine in, i'm going to turn it up as high as I can, and will also make a map for E85. Then this turbo charger will really vome alive. Right now i'm at 10.7 psi (.7bar spring) and am hoping to flirt with 30 ish psi....but of course psi is only a piece of the puzzle when it comes to laying power down, and i will have to do boost by gear which Neptune can fo as well

I made my down pipe...it's a 3" downpipe and then drove it to a muffler shop and had them install 3" all the way back. I wasn't gunna spend a lot of $$ on an exhaust...theres no point. I put a high flow obx resonantor on and a dynomax turbo muffler (no cat) and ppl can't believe how quiet it is, and the cops stay off my *** now which is nice. When I put my engine in I will make a solenoid actuated Y in my exhaust for max flow when I really want it...
