b20 vtec head questons
im building an all motor b20 vtec right now i have skunk 2 tuner series stage 2 with alpha springs and retainers and ferra valves my friend has a set of skunk 2 pro series stage 2 with Rocket Motorsports SL duel valve springs i never heard of these springs and could find anything on them im wondering if anybody has any info on these springs also wondering if this would be a good upgrade from the tuner series he also wants to sell me skunk2 lma

The rocket SL are 85lb seat pressure if I'm not mistaken. Same as the standard Supertechs, I'm not sure about the tuner specs.

pro 2 is big! id deff stick with the tuner 2 cams.

I wouldn't buy a used set of springs. But if they are there for the taking and you have access to some equipment I'd check them all for pressure and coil bind then compare to what you are running now.

If you keep the ferrea valves, make sure to use their keepers. The location they machine the groove for the keepers is different than stock, so using oem keepers will change your springs installed height, possibly causing retainer-valve seal contact. At least in my past experience with the 5000 series valves with sk2 tuner 2s
