Default Differnet F22A intake manifold options

I dropped an F22a into my EG and... there are major hood clarence issues. What other manifolds can I run that are shorter then the stock F22A1 manifold?

I am aware that you can run the Euro R manifold to the tune of $300... but that doesn't exactly sound like something that would interest me in terms of price. For that price I could have a machine shop shave the IM down since it is 2 piece IM.

What other alternatives do I have?

Thanks!

Have you tried putting those JDM washers in between the hood and the latches?

hondasdohc- What mount setup did you use?

Arthas- Nobody sells M6 bolts that are long enough here in town. Plus I don't know how long I want them... Definitely long... Were talking like 4inches of space needed. The A1 manifold is really tall.

I used the ebay h22 eg mounts that i had to cut the passenger side mount for. You have a f2d maybe thats why it sits taller do the hood prop it should be like the h2b evo kit you have to prop the hood.

Is it the F22A6 manifold with butterflies? If so, you can remove the butterfly plate and lower it down about an inch. You may also be able to cut some webbing/supports from the underside of your hood. We had to do that in a F2D swap that I did. (Although it was an F20B/Euro R) This was just for the valvecover to clear the hood. Good luck.
