Default 1998 Prelude Engine Swap

Ok i'm used to civics, crxs, and integras, don't know much about accords and preludes. My wife found a 1998 Prelude base model in town for $550 with no engine or transmission. The car started life as an automatic and was converted to manual. The guy threw in an H23 Si tranny and sold her an H23A1 longblock. I've since found another complete H23A1. What all is needed to install this setup in the 1998 chassis? I know an H22 would be better but she wants the car running asap and i've i'll found in town is the h23's. Which axles do i use? I'm guessing an obd2 dizzy and injectors are needed also. Car came with a p5m ecu, which ecu should i replace it with? Sorry for all the questions. Any info is appreciated.
Thank you.

Dude i cannot begin to tell you how hard this will be you will need to change some motor mounts. Convert to OBD I from your current OBD II. I recommend selling the H23A1 and either get an H22A4, F20B, or H23 Vtec. It will cost you alot less if you just get the H22A4 from some junk yard or someone selling on CL. OBD conversion isn't easy nor is it a piece of cake. just change motors. NOW this is unless you have experience in OBD conversion then go for it! Otherwise listen to the other stuff i have written.

first of all your car originally came in vtec form! depending on the state that you reside in, as far as emision inspection and stuff.. you have to stay obd2. where as your motor is not (h23)
but thats not really a big deal.. athough to run your car properly. you would need an obd1 ecu. problem- if you have obd2 inspection (via obd port)
as far as transmision, you can use any f and H series motor.. with the exception of the sh transmision. you would need the 5 spd axles.

now for some reason you atain a obd1 h22, you can just bypass the crank sensor, by extending wires (to quickly get it running) to the distributor (td61u or td60u). or you can do it the right way. changing out the oil pump, crank gear. etc....

im in augusta,ga.....no emissions crap here. i've got a M2S4 Tranny and 2 H23A1's. a complete engine and a longblock that i'm not gonna use. i've got a p5m ecu and a friend of mine has a manual 01 prelude ecu i'll get from him this weekend. I can have the ecu reflashed to the h23 specs.
