Oil and coolant mix on head gasket, cylinder and spark plug boot
Today i decided to check a couple of things on my b18b1 and see why it was running sluggish and i noticed there was oil and coolant on the spark plug boot, in the cylinder and on my head gasket. What could cause this by any chance?
Thanks Dc4LSTeG I'm gonna have to buy another on hopefully soon. To be on the safe side is there a way to check and see if your head is cracked?
Another thing i notice was when i began to remove the head studs i remembered that i forgot to torque down the head studs and its a brand new head gasket on there too. Is there a way i can look at the gasket and tell its still good? and also what would be a good ft-lb to torque the factory head studs too?

but he didnt torque the head bolts, so you dont need new ones. but you do need a new gasket. and thats probably why that gasket blew, ALWAYS torque head bolts.
Is it possible to reuse the head studs? I've heard there torque to yield studs and shoulb be replaced.
