That sounds like your valvetrain to me.... Need to got your valves adjusted. When they get loose they make a lot of noise like that.

lads i have a really weird one also, but the last day i started to move the top plastic timing cover that covers the cam pullys and the noise started to change and dissaper as i moved the cover in and out, im guessing the cover is hitting of one of the pullys making a weird rattlen noise?

^If the timing covers are rattling then it's more than likely from the rubber seal around them deteriorating, nothing to worry about but pull the valve cover to make sure the timing belt is ok and not walking off the gears or anything.

^Well then there's your rattle, uses a special bolt btw, don't stick some trailer hitch hardware from home depot in there.

If I were the OP I'd start with a valve adjustment, if you have some basic skill with cars you should be able to do it no problem, just do it cold, best is first thing in the morning before the car has been driven any.

It's 1-3-4-2 going counter clockwise where up is 1 of course. Specs are...

Intake: 0.15mm-0.19mm(0.006in-0.007in)
Exhaust: 0.17mm-0.21mm(0.007in-0.008in)

So from TDC you start with 1, 90 degrees counter clockwise 3, another 90 degreescounter clockwise 4 and then another 90 degrees and 2?
