Back around 2006 I ran similar times in the 1/8th at both Piedmont and Roxboro with a simple setup. My mph was a little higher 97-100 mph, but I was also on 22" garbage slicks.

You are certainly in the 11's with a stock engine, which I always find cool bragging rights. At least years ago it was cool to brag about that sort of thing with a stock B series on pump gas.

I am thinking that maybe a GSR tranny would help you out a little with that setup. I hated having to shift to 4th gear with my last 6 speed K series setup in the 1/8th, but I was also on slicks that were too small for that setup too or either Nitto Neo Gen 205-50-15". I Could never justify spending the $$$ to buy new slicks when I can not really make it to the track often enough to get good use out of them. That K series setup was a bone stock K20A2 and I went 7's in the 1/8th with that setup too with full interior, exhaust, the works.

Good luck with it, personally I always like reading about or seeing good running stock engines either NA or boosted.

Thanks man. I personally thought it did great so I figured I would post it up. The car had more in it. We will be heading back to the track soon.

It's about 20 minutes away from Boone NC. It's a pretty decent track when its prepped.
