It might be off topic for this forum, but here goes...

To the left of the steering wheel is the switch that is turned to switch the headlights on and off. Well for about a week or so, it was not operating smooth like normal...kinda like grinding. Last night, I tried to turn my lights on and it wouldnt turn at all. So I forced it a little, and I think whatever mechanism is in there broke. Now when I turn it, it feels normal...but it does not effect the lights at all. So something must have broke or came loose in there. Also, my parking lights are now ON all the time, and I cant turn them off....very strange. I know its not an electrical problem, but something mechanical in that one lever.

Anyone have any ideas on what I need to replace. I couldnt find the part on any of the online honda stores. I'm going to take a better look at it tomorrow during the day. Is this something that might be fixable on my own? If not i'll have to head in to my dealership.

 

Sounds like a junk headlight switch. Easy to replace.

 

You need a headlamp switch assembly... very easy to replace on your own, just inform us if you need any help....

 

yeah, i found the part online. its like 80 bucks. i'll take a look at it today to see how easy it would be to replace. thanks.

oh, i was looking in my helms, but couldnt find that part at all. anyone know what page or section it would be in.
