Like the topic says, I have a 94 EH3, no ABS. I got some VX wheels for free and decided to see if they would fit. Everyone said no, so I figured the same. I was going to run 2 on the rear for weight reduction. Anyhoo, they slide right on my lugs and cleared my caliper! There was like 1/4 inch gap. I would swear that everyone said they wouldn't fit. Are they supposed to? Did someone swap out some DX breaks into my car? I measured the rotor and it's about 9.5 inches. Thanks

I know, I thought maybe they clear the caliper, but the offset is different and would cause rubbing issue(things to make me think that I STILL have the correct size brakes). Good for me then, I can throw some little tires on there for the strip.

 

no ABS means you have the small brakes like the 92-93 Si's.

 

I know my brakes are the same size as 92-93 Si's, and I didn;t think 13 inch wheels fit those either. Oh well, works for me.

 

 

92-93 Si brakes ARE DX brakes!

 

dx brakes are drum in the back si are disk
the vx wheels wont fit on gsr brakes u have to use a spacer

when i popped a tire i barrowed a stock VX 13 because with my car so low i was hitting the bumper on the ground on small bumps.

Never the less the VX wheel didnt fit on the back..it was too small but fit on the front fine..it was CLOSE mind you but it fit.

I have a 93 civic SI with NO abs. Front n rear disc brakes.

they are very close fit, though will fit! eric i had them on my ek no prob!

 

Thanks for the assurance guys. Any of you guys run decent tires on them? What will fit? I was thinking about some somewhat grippy ones for the strip-I'm not going to buy slicks, and wanna see what works. I was thinking some AVS intermediates???? Let me know. I know they're not drag radials, but they should grip better than some Generals!
