i think people who spend over a grand on these have issues.

that's just me though. i've never understood why yellow seats are so desirable

 

X2!! Don't get me Wrong either! I <3 Yellow Mellows and would be nice to have but $2k+ for seats??? Your either a B@ller or you must really like the color yellow GL...

 

^ I agree. I love my PY ITR but I wouldn't rock Yellow seats in mine. I'd prefer some JDM Black Recaros or some Mugen buckets

As for your question, the price will depend on the condition and if the seller is reasonable. There are some sellers that ask more than 3g's for yellow Recaros. LOL!

I'd say $1800 - $2200 would be fair.

 

A buddy of mine bought front yellows (near mint) for 1500 and back seats with yellow stitching for 550.

I think he got a good deal. I wouldn't pay more then 1500 for mint seats.

I think its mostly due to their rarity. I guarantee if there had been a limited edition JDM ITR with pink Recaros, they would fetch the same prices.

 

I'd pay more for the same condition black ones than yellow ones that look like faded peeps. No thanks...

Most I'd spend on great condition Black ones would be in the 12-1500 range.

seats brand new without rails are 700 each, used rails are what? 250 ish

Yup, exactly. Rarity is what plays the foremost thing with these seats.

I have a set of MINT Red Recaros on the way from an importer, and that was after having one bolster repaired and having them cleaned. for 900 shipped. And they are show room condition.

If you have the money to spend that much money on seats then more power to you, but, I would never spend 2800 on seats.

If people pay that much for them, then people will still sell them for that much. If no one paid over 1300 for them then 1300 would be there price tag. We control the price. Not the sellers.

 

900 is about right for mint reds, 1000-1200 for mint blacks, imo yellows should sell similar to reds. it's kind of an oddball color

probably. there are people asking crackhead prices for things in the ITR parts for sale section constantly. i often wonder if they actually get those inflated prices or if people talk them down to market rate.

 

I felt the same way until I had the money to get them (good price). They compliment my car so good in person. Even at night from distance you can notice them.

 

They don't exactly age well, never really understood spending that much on a factory seat to be honest.

seats, door panels and the rest never seem to have that tight of a range. the only interior item that really seems to are jdm reds which fetch 900-1000 in gem mint condition to maybe 600-700 in fair to good condition.
