I was driving 10 mph and slammed on the brakes because my dog jumped out the window(not injured) and did not hit my clutch so the car died. When I tried to start it up it will turn over strong, has all electrical working, new battery, but will not start. I tried to roll start and pop the clutch and it sounded like the engine kind of responded but did not start up or keep running. It was running fine before this. Any help is greatly apprciated.

 

Cjheck the T belt Make sure cam and crank are lined up and mooving I got a bad feeling belt jumped or broke I hope I am mistaken

 

I sprayed starter fluid into the air intake and it fired and cut off so I believe it is a fuel problem.

 

Check for loose wiring under the hood? Check fuses?

 

Check the dist cap..something similar happened to me..was the dist cap and coil all shot got new ones and plugs...starts up right away now
