What size is your compressor outlet? Run that size to the intercooler. What size is the oulet on the intercooler? Run that size to your throttle body. Run as large of a downpipe as you can fit, and get a different tranny.
63.ar and why a different tranny??? ls gears are long riiight better than vtec tranny ???
Haha, I was just thinking that.
.63 A/R is the ratio comparing the area of the inlet of the volute to the radius of that point on the volute to the center of the shaft. How would you build intercooler piping that has a diameter of ".63 A/R"? I was asking for the physical size, in inches, that the outlet is, where the compressed air comes out. Probably 2.5" or 3.0"
Longer gears are not better. Properly spaced gears are better. With a 9000 RPM rev limit and a 225/50/15 tire you would hit 155 MPH at the top of fourth gear. Too high, unless you're trapping nearly 160 on street tires. With a 24.5" slick, assuming it grows an inch on the top end to 25.5" you're looking at 166 MPH at the top of fourth. Assuming you're trapping about 140 at the end of the 1/4 you'd only be doing 7700 RPM's and hurting your top end. An Integra GSR trans gives you 150 MPH at 9000 at the top of 4th on slicks, which is just about perfect.
